VII International Art and Graphics Contest “In My Homeland”In 2012 11 364 works from 26 countries (Armenia, China, Belarus, Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Moldova, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, the Ukraine, United Arab Emirates) entered the VII International Art and Graphics Contest “In My Homeland”. Young artists were given for topics for artistic works:
The jury of the Contest worked on 3-7 February in the educational centre of Green Cross Belarus. It was comprised of professional artists and experienced teachers from Belarus, Russia, the Ukraine and Georgia. The works were divided into seven age categories. 13 works were awarded I Degree Diplomas, 28 works – II Degree Diplomas, 41 works – III Degree Diplomas, 404 works received Exhibition Participant Diplomas, 796 works – Contest Diplomas and 1535 works – Letters of Gratitude for participating in the Contest. More than 100 specialists in the sphere of culture and art education (heads of studios, teachers and headmasters of art schools and colleges, lecturers of art departments, museum employees) from Belarus, Russia, the Ukraine, Georgia participated in it.
