Jury Board of the 8th International Art and Graphics Contest “In My Homeland” Concluded its Work

As the result of the Contest 314 works entered the exposition of the 8th International Exhibition “In My Homeland”. These works were awarded Degree Diplomas and Exhibition Diplomas. Overall 15 459 works from 31 countries were received for the Contest.

Jury work took place on 2-5 February in the Educational Centre of the NGO “Green Cross Belarus”. 12 professional artists, teachers and art critics from Belarus, Russian and Ukraine were members of the board. More details about the jury board…

For the first time at the working sessions of the jury board was present an invited expert: famous Russian art critic Lidiya ISHKOVA. In February 2012 Lidiya was one of the members of the jury board of the “In My Homeland” Contest and at the III International Artists-Teachers Conference shared her impression of the experience. This year her aim was to present a deep and detailed Contest analysis.

Works were assessed in 7 age groups, in each of which the jury identified I, II, III Degree Diploma winners, as well as Exhibition Diplomas and Contest Diplomas winners. A lot of works received Letters of Gratitude.

At the end of the jury work took place a round table, at which the issues of Contest development were discussed.
