The Jury of the 10th International Contest “In My Homeland” have finished the work

13 professional artists and art educators from Belarus, Ukraine and Russia were evaluating the entries. Jury was working from 1 to 4 February in the Educational Center of the Belarusian Green Cross.

13 247 paintings from 34  countries participated in the contest. Argentina, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Georgia, Estonia, Hungary, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Czech Republic, China, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Mozambique, Moldova, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia,  Slovenia, Spain, Tadzhikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Sri Lanka took part.

Painting and Graphics were evaluated separately divided into 7 age groups. The Jury have defined diploma winners of I, II, III degrees; diploma winners of the exhibitions and diploma winners of the contest. Great quantity of works was noted with thanks for the participation.

At the end of the jury on February,5  was held pedagogical seminar led by Professor of Charles University in Prague and the Prague Academy of Photography and Film Vera ROESELOVA where were discussed  such  issues as:

- Creative, artistic thinking

- Operational artistic thinking

- The structure of the lesson: motivation, value, technology

- Bohemian look at a work of art competitions for children, Bridge between artistic expression of children and adolescents, meeting with reality, development of art, types of students according to their artistic expression prospects of competition.

The results of the X-th International Contest “In My Homeland” will be published on our web-site in March, 2015.

The opening of the final exhibition and winners awarding is to take place on the 15-th of April, 2015 in Minsk. The winners, who will not be able to be present at the exhibition, will be sent the awards via post before the 1-st of June 2015.
