The 6th International Conference of Artists-Teachers took place in MinskAbout 200 artists, headmasters of art schools, art experts and editors from Belarus, Latvia, Russia, Ukraine and Check Republic participated in the VI-th International-Conference of Artist-Teachers “ Modern art education of children and youth”. The conference took place in the National center for environmental and local studies from 6 to 7 of February in Minsk. In the program there were reports devoted to the modern art education, presentations of art educational institutions from different countries and of international contests and projects. The Head of the art section with methodical association of art schools of Minsk region Stepan KLIMCHUK opened our conference with the report "ART-session" of young artists - an annual art project of art schools of Minsk region". Deputy Director of the Center for Continuing art education in Moscow Larisa NEMENSKAYA covered the topic about the role of the teacher in the children's creativity and criteria for evaluation of children's drawings, based on her experience. Representatives of different, we can say bivalent, generations exchanged views on the issue of maintaining a realistic school during the 'teachers' meeting". Executive Director MCPO " Teachers of art Union" Marina ASTAFYEVA (Moscow, Russia) presented the works, created by the students in collaboration with their teachers, animated films "The Snow Queen", "Suitcase", which not only aroused the positive emotions, but also became a topic of discussion during the break, leaving a bright trace in the memory of all conference participants. Anna KULIKOVA and Guzel ZINOVKINA (d. Demikhova, Moscow region, Russia) shared the first experience of children's drawings animation: from sketches to the realization, and presented the animated film "Kolyada". Valery KALTYGIN (Bobruisk, Belarus), Chief (since 2003) of annual international plein airs on ceramics "Art Zhizhal", raised the question about the specifics of teaching the basics of artistic ceramics to students at children's art school. The participants of the conference were especially impressed by a documentary film about the international plein air on ceramics "Art Zhizhal." Julia and Paul SLIPICHI (Kherson, Ukraine) and Natalia TERESHCHENKO (Rostov, Russia) shared the experience in implementing the pedagogical system of continuous education. Ilgnese AVOTINA (Riga, Latvia) told about classical teaching methods and innovations in 5-9-graders of Riga Secondary Art School named by Jan Rosenthal. A short video of the final examination, taken by the students at school in a totally relaxed atmosphere, was really impressive. About the Ist International exhibition-contest "Opportunities of watercolor", which is held once in two years, told the Jury member of our contest "In My Homeland" Faina KLETSOVA (Omsk, Russia). The use of the composition in our everyday life in cognitive form was presented by Marina FAZANOVA (Gatchina, Russia), and about the color in composition (engraving on cardboard) told Tatiana TIKHOMIROVA (Odessa, Ukraine). Our guest from Sochi (Russia), Tatiana DALEUSKI spoke about the relationship between the activities during the lessons and after them as an important factor in the development of a creative personality. During the conference, in the gallery of Environmental Center were opened three exhibitions, presenting works of the students of the "Children's Art School in Vitebsk" (teacher Olga VALYUSHKINA); the works of students and teachers – the participants of the 2nd Belorussian-plein air workshop for educators, artists of the project "Dialogue of Centuries: First World War and Peace of Today"; as well as graphics and decorative works of the family art project "Game of shape and color" by Yuri PETRUSHKIN and Irina VASILYEVA (Donetsk). In the lobby of Environmental Center there was an exhibition of children's drawings from Donetsk on the subject "Echo of War", dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The conference organizers expressed to all participants of the 6th Conference kind wishes with a hope for further beneficial cooperation. |
