III International Conference for Artists-Teachers Took Place on 8-9 February in Minsk
The two-day program of the Conference included reports, dedicated to modern art education, composition teaching in art schools, modern museum projects. As well art educational establishments and international art contests from different countries were presented. One of the highly discussed reports was the one presented by the artist, member of the jury board of the VII International Art and Graphics Contest “In My Homeland” Maka Batiashvili. It was dedicated to the modern Georgian art education of children and youth and she presented the works and graduation projects of the Tbilisi Art Academy named after A. Kutateladze students. Within the Conference in the gallery of the Republican Ecological Centre for Children and Youth was open and exhibition of artists-teachers from Belarus, Russia and the Ukraine. The exposition was comprised of graphic, pictorial and decorative works of teachers of the Grodno Children’s Art School Elena KUZNETSOVA and Viktoriya ILYINA, lecturer of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts Alla KEYGE (Minsk), teacher of the Senno school #1 Irina KUCHKO (Senno, Vitebsk region),head of the children-youth centre “Barvy Ukrainy” Svetlana TELETS (Vinnitsa), teacher of the Gatchina Children’s art school Marina FAZANOVA (Gatchina, Leningrad region). Marina Fazanova presented not only her artistic works but as well her pupils’ works, complementing and illustrating her report at the Conference dedicated to the many figure composition. On the additional day of the Conference, February 10, participants visited Minsk State Arts College and other exhibitions in galleries and museums of Minsk. |
