The results of the Project “Dialogue of Centuries: First World War and Peace of Today” have been drawn

The structure of the exhibition commission includes graphic artists, literary critics and historians from Russia and Belarus. In May, they were examining graphics made by the project participants based on literary works, touching the subject of the First World War.

By decision of the Commission the exposure of project final exhibition includes 52 works illustrating the poems of Akhmatova A., Blok A., Voloshin M., Gumilev N., Mandelstam O., Mayakovsky V., Tsvetaeva M. and prose of Barbyus A.,.Remark E. M, Stepun F., Tolstoy A., Sholokhov M. Authors are both young and experienced artists and teachers from Belarus, Russia and Ukraine.

The electronic version of the exhibition is presented at sites www.art-dialog.net and www.greencross.by, and the exposition will be placed at project partners sites. The originals will be exhibited at the National Library of the Republic of Belarus from 7 to 28 August, and the Minsk Regional Library named after A. Pushkin during the second international socio-scientific readings “Dialogue of Centuries: First World War and Peace of Today” that are to take place 14-15 of October.
