The jury of the VIIth International Art and Graphics contest “In My Homeland” finished its work

Review of the works took place on 3-7 February in the Green Cross Belarus Educational Centre. In the course of 5 days the jury board looked through 11 364 works received for the Contest from 26 countries.

The works were assessed in 7 age groups and in each of them were awarded I, II, III Degree Diplomas, Exhibition and Contest Participant Diplomas. A large number of works were also awarded Diplomas of acknowledgement for participation in the Contest.

After the jury board finished its work there was held a round table at which the perspectives for Contest development were discussed.

11 professional artists and teachers from Belarus, Georgia, Russia and the Ukraine comprised the jury board. You can see some of the work of the jury board members here. In the nearest future interviews of the jury board members will be uploaded to the site, from which you will be able to find out their opinion about the contest and the works.

Results of the VIIth International Art and Graphics contest “In My Homeland” will be uploaded to the site in March 2012. Contest participants subscribed for our newsletter will receive notification by e-mail.

Final exhibition will open on April 19 in Minsk in the art gallery "University of Culture" and in the exhibition hall of the Republican Ecological Centre for Children and Youth. The exposition will be comprised of works awarded I, II, III Degree Diplomas and Exhibition Participant Diplomas. Award ceremony for the winners of the Contest will take place the same day.

Contest winners who are unable to attend the exhibition opening will receive their awards by post which will be sent out before June 1, 2012.
