Terms of 9th International Art Contest “In My Homeland”

Green Cross Belarus with the support of EC/FAO Project “Improved pesticides and chemicals management" is announcing the Contest "In My Homeland"

GOALS:

• Attraction of attention of wide public to home land and safety of people working and living there
• Search, support and promotion of young talented artists, demonstrating their work to a wide audience.
• Preservation and development of national and regional art education traditions. Actualization of teacher’s work in the artistic educational process.
• Development of a fund of children and youth artistic works from different countries and regions for analytical, methodological work and exhibition activities.

TOPICS:

“In My Homeland” is a traditionally free topic of the Contest. Other optional topics suggested:

• Safe Work on the Land (main topic)
• Home land. Landscape
• Magic garden
• Holiday
• Old House

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION:

1/ The age of participants FROM 5 TO 18 YEARS inclusive.

2/ The work presented to the Contest must be CREATIVE AND UNASSISTED, prepared in the year of the Contest it shall participate in.

3/ On the back side of each work there should be a filled in APPLICATION FORM (the pattern is provided below). Download Application Form (440 Kb)

4/ All the works sent to the Contest are not reviewed and NOT RETURNED to the authors. The organizers of the Contest reserve the right to reproduce the works in order to promote and develop the Contest, to use them in methodological and humanitarian activities without consent of the author and without paying author’s royalty.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE:

The works are accepted from OCTOBER 1 until DECEMBER 31, 2013 to the following postal address:

We urge all the participants to use REGULAR MAIL or EXPRESS SERVICE EMS. Do not indicate the price (value) of the shipment on the parcel.

RESULTS OF THE CONTEST:

The jury will revise the works in February 2014 and define the Laureates and Diploma winners of the Contest. The works of the laureates will enter the final exposition and will be exhibited in the digital gallery at the Contest web-site: www.children-art.org.

9^th INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF ART AND GRAPHICS “IN MY HOMELAND” is opening in April 2014 in Minsk.
